The Board of Living Waters Catholic Schools celebrated Holy Redeemer students in Edson as they made their way across the stage to celebrate a milestone in their formal education, Graduation! Board Chair Gemma Christie expressed gratitude to staff and parents for their support and commitment in preparing our students for whatever life brings them. Congratulations Holy Redeemer Grads!

Alberta's Catholic Schools are beacons of hope for families across the province seeking faith-based education for their children. Today is World Catholic Education Day and celebrations are happening all across the province and across our Living Waters Catholic Separate School Division to celebrate the gift of Catholic Education. Join us all with enthusiasm and action! We are all in it together, and today we are all wearing blue and walking for Catholic Education.

On Friday May 12, many people including staff from Living Waters Catholic Schools gathered together to share the amazing stories about Catholic Education at the Spring GrACE Summit. As Grateful Advocates of Catholic Education, participants shared ways to unite, communicate, engage and educate everyone around the province in the wonderful gift of Catholic Education. Next week is Catholic Education Week, and we invite everyone across the Division to share and participate in the many planned activities at our Living Waters Catholic Schools in Edson, Slave Lake and Whitecourt.

Staff and trustees from across Living Waters Catholic Separate School division had the opportunity to attend Blueprints 2023. Time was spent working in groups, while time was given to reflect on the presentations provided by the guest speaker, Mike Patin.

At the Blueprints Awards Banquet, St. Mary of the Lake Principal was celebrated as a recipient of the St. John Bosco Excellence in Catholic Education Award! Congratulations Mr. Dan Gillmor on this very prestigious award.
